This beach is better for lower profile builds as the sand is only about 1 to 2 inches thick before hitting lots of rocks below the top level sand. We recommend scraping the sand from the top with your multi-tool to avoid adding too many small rocks in your build. This sand will support a pro kit build but requires to scrape the smoother top level sand in order to hold it's form.

White Sand Beach in Hengchun Township Taiwan is a beautiful beach but due to the very coarse and thick sand here, it's not very conducive to building sand castles. A very high shell content in the sand doesn't allow for the binding necessary for a sand castle but you can still build low profile castles here, but don't attempt to stack at this beach.
